Sue Ann (Gorham) Tarbutton

Sue Ann Tarbutton, age 84, of Washington C.H. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Court House Manor.

     Sue was born September 19, 1933 in Athens, Ohio to the late Gerson and Ruth (Cox) Gorham. She was a 1951 graduate of Worthington High School. Sue was a long-time resident of Washington Court House. She enjoyed planting flowers, working in the garden and canning. She was a gentle, kind and caring person. The love and dedication she had for her family was evident to anyone who met her. She will be missed by many.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Tarbutton and two sons, John and Scott Tarbutton.

     Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (Renee) Tarbutton of GA, Steven (Kay) Tarbutton of Gahanna, Christine (Joel) Proegler of NY, Thomas (Cristy) Tarbutton of WCH and Todd Tarbutton of IN; daughter-in-law, Eileen Tarbutton of IN; brothers, Jack (Yvonne) Gorham and Robert Judson. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren (with more to come), which was a source of her pride and joy.

     The family will receive friends at the Grace Community Church on Tuesday, May 22 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
