William Eugene “Bill” Bennett, age 51, of Bloomingburg passed away on the morning of July 24, 2018 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Bill was born in Washington CH on November 19, 1966 to William and Ruby Lemmings Bennett. He was a graduate of Miami Trace High School. He had worked driving truck for Bennett Recycling for many years.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Todd Bennett.
Surviving are his father and his wife, Alice, who was a second mother to Bill; children, Tylor (Candy) Bennett of New Holland and Amber (Billy) Ferrell of Orient; grandchildren, Tyrena, Lacey and Zaylyn Bennett and Caden, Bryce, Raegyn and Bryer Ferrell; sisters, Veronica (Danny) Brown and Tonya (Donnie) Fleak; brothers, Luther McCarty (Susan Lute), Rob (Traci) Bennett, Victor McCarty, James (Letha) Bennett and Scott Bennett; as well as, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A funeral service is planned at 1pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Lyn Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on the day of the service. Burial will follow in the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
