Alice Marie (Scott) Robinson, 81, of Bloomingburg went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2014.
She was born in London, Ohio to Allen Scott and Dorothy (Starks) Johnson. She was a member of The Spirit of Truth Ministry Church in Washington C.H. Caring for her family and worshipping God was how she spent most of her life. She was the “glue” and the “rock” that held her family together.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robinson Sr.; son, Steven Robinson; brothers and sisters, Grace (Chester) Coble, Florence (Neil) Smith, Herbert (Francis) Scott, Jimmy Scott and Edna (Clarence) Mason; sister-in-law, Katherine Corbett and brother-in-law, Lester Sanders.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her children, Paul Jr., Pamela, Douglas, Randy and Brian Robinson, Cheryl (Shawn) Bunch, Allyson (Chris) Gray, Dean (Nancy) Robinson and Tricia (Gus) Whiteside; sister-in-law, Pauline Sanders; brother-in-law, Norman Corbett; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also leaving behind, are her special friends, daughter, Patty Smith; daughter-in-law Stella Robinson; friends Randy and Diane Lee, Francis Clark and Carol Rogers.
Friends may call Monday, January 6, 2014, at the Wellman-Kinzer & Godorhazy Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor’s Don Young and Randy Lee officiating. Interment to follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery.
