Allen Eugene Thomas, age 81, formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Mr. Thomas was currently residing in The Villages, Florida.
Born December 5, 1933 to the late Allen G. Thomas and Wanda (Johns) Thomas Webb, Mr. Thomas lived in Columbus, Ohio until he retired from Sears & Roebuck in 1994. Shortly after, he moved to Springfield, Ohio until moving to Florida in 2013.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Sanders.
He is survived by brothers, Gerald (Vivian) Thomas of Washington C.H. and Mike (Ruthann) Thomas of Stoutsville, OH; sisters, Shirley Tyree of Washington C.H., Donna Upthegrove of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Judy Clark of Washington C.H.; special cousins Obie and Susie Roberts of Springfield, OH; life-long friends Jay and Sheryl Thivener of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m., in the Kinzer & Godorhazy Funeral Home, Washington C.H. Pastor Earl Burns officiating. Interment to follow in Washington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 S.W. 34th Ave., Ocala, FL 34474.
