Anissa Pearl (Massie) Dennis

Anissa Pearl (Massie) Dennis, 53, of Chillicothe, passed February 3, 2025, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following complications from pneumonia.

Anissa was born February 15, 1971, in Fayette County. She was a graduate of the Miami Trace High School class of 1989. Anissa was a loving daughter, sister, and mother. She absolutely loved her coffee and had her unique recipe for making it taste perfect. Anissa will be remembered for her kind heart and giving spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pearl Gilmore, Jr., and grandparents, Kenneth Joe and Carol Massie.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather Dorothy (Rodney “Pops”) Whiteside of WCH; her children, Adam Dennis (Chasity Arnett) of WCH and Cierra (Stephen) McConnell of Bellbrook; grandchildren, Alexis, Grayson, Emma, Kelsey, Ava, and Addison; sister, Kelli Brown; and her many friends.

Cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Roberts Funeral Home is caring for the family.
