Beatrice Leona Stratton

Beatrice Leona Stratton ,  89, of Washington Court House gained her wings on November 8, 2022, with her daughters at her side.

Beatrice was born November 10, 1932, in Pike County, Ohio to the late Vora Butler and Miriam Walls. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed attending school activities and sporting events that the grandchildren were involved in.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter David Stratton in 2011 and a special aunt, Viola Vanmeter.

Surviving are her daughters, Teresa (Gary) Kinzer of Washington CH and Kristal (Robert) Humphrey of Oxford; grandchildren, Jeremy (Denny) Smith, Joni Merritt, Christopher (Michele) Humphrey, and Nicholas (Taylor) Humphrey; great grandchildren, Kayli and Gage Merritt, Shasta Bushey, and Dakota (Emily) Shadley; sister, Flossie Brown; and her many extended family members and friends, including special friends and neighbors, Jim and Barb Huff.

A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Monday, November 14, 2022, with Pastor Joy Stanforth officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 13 ^th from 12 to 2pm.
