Bennie Ray See

Bennie Ray See , 82, of Washington CH passed away on July 11, 2022, at the Adena Fayette Medical Center.

Ben was born May 8, 1940, in Boyd County, Kentucky to the late Shannon and LeeEtta (VanHorn) See. He was a proud US veteran serving stents in both the US Navy and the US Army. Ben had worked many years for the Texaco Company, delivering fuel. He was a member of many local organizations, including the American Legion Post 25, Masonic Lodge 117, The Washington Shrine Club, Elks Lodge 129, and the FOE Eagles 423. Ben enjoyed reading and woodworking in his down time.

Along with his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony, Bill, and Mike See, and by a stepson, Mark Forsythe.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie (McBrayer) See with whom he shared nearly 30 years of marriage; daughter, Cyndi Norton of California; stepson, David Lee; grandchildren, Joseph and Andrew Norton, Marco, Jeff, and David Forsythe, Rachel Vance, Brittany Myers, and Miguel Molina; great grandchildren, Rose and Benjamin Norton, and his many friends.

A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14 ^th from 4pm to 7pm.
