Beverly Ann Eckle Dunn, 73, of Washington Court House, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Sunday, October 27, 2013, surrounded by family, friends and members of her church in the comfort of her home.
She was born February 23, 1940 to the late Herbert and Pauline (Hines) Eckle.
A 1960 graduate of Washington High School, Beverly lived most of her life in Washington C.H., where she worked for 37 years as a home health care assistant. In addition to her professional career, Beverly loved to tell jokes and make people laugh and smile.
A member of the First Church of God, she was a committee member on the Missionary Board and volunteered with other church members at The Well.
Beverly is survived by her son, Brian of Washington C.H.; daughter, Robin (Rick) Nichols of Richmond Hill, GA; grandaughters, Nichole Nichols of Greenville, SC and Natisha Nichols and fiancé Sean of Savanah GA; great-grandson, Jason Crozier; brother Terry (Mindy) Eckle and sister Barbara Sue Shinkle, both of Washington C.H.; family friend, Becky Butcher; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday at the Wellman-Kinzer & Godorhazy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at the First Church of God, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Lawrence Woodson officiating. Interment to follow at Washington Cemetery.
