Bonnie Mae Bell

Bonnie Mae Bell , Age 75, of Washington CH passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday May 25, 2016 with her family at her side.

Bonnie was born on March 30, 1941 in Madison County, to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Coppock) Brown. She had lived most of her life in this area, and had retired as head cook from Washington Senior High School. In the past, she had been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Oakridge, TN.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Danny K. Bell; an infant sister, Carol Ann Brown; and a special niece Diane Brown Armoska-Dowling.

Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Jenkins; grandson Daniel “D.J.” (Christy) Jenkins; and great-grandchildren, Kami Kuenzli, Tony Kuenzli, and Jillian Bell Jenkins, all of Washington CH; brothers, Larry (Melanie) Brown of GA and Terry (Susan) Brown of TN; sisters, Betty (the late Tommy) Cooper of TN, Joy (JP) Ford of TN and Beverly (Bill) Cunningham, AL.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH, with pastor Joy Stanforth officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11am to the time of service.
