Bonnie Lou Spradlin, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully at the home of family in Washington Court House, Ohio, on October 19, 2025. Born on September 20, 1941, Bonnie was a daughter of the late Olive and Viola (Fout) Crabtree.

Bonnie's career was marked by her significant contributions at IT&T, where she worked for many years making night vision goggles. Her diligent work ethic and commitment were evident throughout her professional life, and she gained respect and admiration from her colleagues.

From a young age, Bonnie demonstrated her strong faith, having been baptized and accepted Jesus Christ into her life at just 12 years old. She was a devoted member of the Spirit of Truth Church, where she attended services led by Pastor Don Young. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her religious community were core aspects of her identity.

In her personal life, Bonnie was known for her nurturing nature, often serving as the caretaker of her family. She cherished gatherings that brought loved ones together, taking pride in sharing meals and creating lasting memories. Her love for planting and caring for flowers reflected her vibrant and nurturing spirit, as did her enjoyment of puzzles, which provided her moments of peaceful reflection.

Bonnie leaves behind a loving family, including her siblings: Mamie (Ron) Frazier, Ike James Crabtree, Chester Crabtree, and Kathleen "Bernice" Milam. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, including Paul (Tonya) Pendergraft, William Pendergraft, Travis Redden, Eva Jones, Charles (Caroline) Paul , Sherry Forman, Jason Crabtree, Janessa King, Ashley Young, Jeremy (Loretta) Frazier, Dustin (Ashley) Frazier, Doddie Crabtree, Tony Milam, Chester Crabtree, Jr., Tammy Compton, Angie Huckby, Derrick Crabtree, and Michelle Doolittle. Additionally, Bonnie is survived by her great nieces and nephews Crystal (Michael) Brienzi, Benjamin Pendergraft (Janette) Keyser, Demetria Lacy, Conner, Kaleb Frazier, Sebastian Frazier, Sarafena and Kayla Crabtree, Ashlyn Kalan,and Ezra Milam, and by great great nieces and nephews, Ilya Pendergraft, Tatum and Teagan Kragh and Lacelynn-Lou, Emeric, and Lymerick Brienzi, as well as several additional nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends.

Along with her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her dear sister, Sandra Kelley, her brother, Orville Crabtree, and nephews Shawn Crabtree and Demetrius Nance.

Her legacy will surely be remembered through the lives she touched, and the countless memories shared with her family and friends.

A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor John Caskey officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the start of the service.
