Carol (Lee) Massie

Carol Lee Massie , Age 53, of Bloomingburg passed away peacefully at her home on Monday August 29, 2016.

Carol was born on July 28, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio to Herman and Patricia (Leonard) Lee. She had lived most of her life in this area, and was a 1981 Graduate of Miami Trace High School. Carol was a truck driver for the South Shore Transportation Company.

Carol is preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Wallie Atherton of WCH; her mother, Patricia Lee of WCH; children, Bobby Bennett of London, Cassie and Clara Atherton of Bloomingburg and Sierra Atherton of WCH; grandchildren, Lily Foust, Tucker, Aleha, Desiree, Danielle, Ethan Bennett and Bobby Bennett Jr.; brother, Mike Lee of WCH; sisters, Deanna Hollis of Greenfield and Pamela Phillips of SC; a special friend and caregiver, Holly Leonard; as well as, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The service will be held at 1 pm on Friday September 2 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH with Pastor Danny Dodds Officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Whiteoak Grove Cemetery in Buena Vista.
