Charles Edgar "Chuck" Pate

Charles Edgar “Chuck” Pate of Washington Court House passed away at his home on April 10, 2023, at the age of 40.

Chuck will be remembered as a kind and caring soul. He loved bringing smiles to the faces of those he cared about. Chuck had also loved fishing and would go any chance he could.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Larry Pate.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Connie and Mark Spangler of Columbus; sister, Melony Kovach of South Salem: nephews, Anthony and Aaron Kovach of Washington Court House: aunts, Penny (Robert) Hatfield and Shelia Sears; uncles, Albert Sears, Jerry Harrison, Gary Pate, and Kenny Harrisons: and several cousins, as well as his many friends.

A funeral service is planned for 4pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor James Spangler and Mark Spangler officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2pm until the start of service.
