Charles Joseph Johnson

Charles Joseph Johnson , age 76, of Washington CH passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, February 6, 2017.
Charles was born on October 29, 1940 in Catlettsburg, KY to Estel and Cloteen Riffe Johnson. He had lived almost 50 years in this area. He had retired from Mead Containers, where he worked in the maintenance department. Charles was a past president of the Fayette County Night Owls and was a life member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his father and his wife Dorothy Jean Johnson.
Surviving are his mother; his children, Charles Joseph “Joe” Johnson Jr. of Columbus and Estel Lewis “Lou” (Leah) Johnson of Greenfield; grandson, Hunter Johnson; brother, Larry (Rhinda) Johnson; and sister, Vonda (Robert) MiGinnis.
A memorial service is planned on Sunday February 19, 2017 at 1pm at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:30am until the time of service.
