Charles Edward Yates

Charles Edward Yates, 71, of Washington Court House passed January 22, 2024, shortly after arrival at the Adena Fayette Medical Center. He had been in failing health.

Charles was born September 25, 1952, in Fayette County to the late Charles and Myrtle Yates. He was a member of the Miami Trace High School graduating class of 1972. Charles worked for many years at the Local Frisch’s Restaurant.

Charles is survived by his sister Catherine Quesinberry of FL, brother, Leroy Yates of WCH, a niece and several nephews.

A service is planned for 1pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12pm until the start of the service.
