Cheri Lynn (Yerian) Ellars

Cheri Lynn Yerian Ellars , age 55, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at her home. She was born December 25, 1961, in Chillicothe, to Phillip and Barbara (Zellars) Yerian.

She is preceded in death by infant son Phillip Graves; sister, Terri Yerian; and grandparents Robert and Dorothy Zellars; and John and Ivy Yerian, and Uncle Robert Zellers

Along with her parents Barbara and Sam Sever of Washington CH and Phillip  and Marla Yerian of Kingston, she is survived by her children Cassie Ellars (Dalton Rothwell) and Caleb Ellars (Kaylee Mallow), both of Washington CH; siblings, Scott Yerian (Sherry Havens), Jeffrey (Tami) Ault, Lisa (Rick) Noble, Christy (Greg) Shaw, Ronnie Sever, and Gary (Trish) Sever; former husband and close friend James Ellars III and his children Jimmy (Courtney), Brandon (Kelli), and their families; uncles, Tom Zellars and Jeff (Betty) Yerian; grandchildren Carleigh, Cameron and Calee; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and all of her friends and extended family at American Legion.

Cheri worked most of her life as a waitress, a career that was perfect for her friendly, upbeat personality. She never met a stranger, greeted everyone with her huge smile, and always had a positive outlook on life. Cheri lived each day to the fullest and took pleasure in the simple joys of life that others often overlook. She looked forward to the upcoming birth of her granddaughter Chloe and showering her with unconditional love. Without fail, Cheri never said goodbye without a kiss and an “I love you.”

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Roberts Funeral Home in Washington C.H., with Daryl Upp officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, at the funeral home, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
