Christina "Tina" Tillis, born December 18, 1965, in Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on December 10, 2025. She was a vibrant free spirit, known for her remarkable ability to live life on her own terms and embrace all that life had to offer.
Tina's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She is survived by mother Faith (Shockley) Williams; her daughters, Brittany (Eric) Mekolites of Oak Hill and Lacey Walker of Columbus, who carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. A devoted grandmother, Tina cherished her time with Corinthian Mekolites, Eric Mekolites, Sarina Walker, Gage Walker, Emma Walker, Cyrus Walker, Grace Walker, Ellie Mae Walker, and Brandon Walker, Jr., who brought immense joy to her life.
She leaves a loving extended family that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Among those who held a special place in her heart was Tracey Hunt, who loved Tina like a mother, as well as her dear friends Tony, James, and Rick and the father of her children, Charles Crawford.
Tina enjoyed an array of hobbies and interests that reflected her zest for life. Cooking was not just a necessity for her; it was an expression of love and creativity. She found great joy in listening to good music, playing euchre, and pool, activities that often brought friends and family together for memorable gatherings.
Preceding her in death was her father, Joseph Williams.
Tina Tillis will be remembered for her vivacious spirit and her unwavering love for her family and friends. As we gather our memories of her infectious laughter and the warmth she brought to our lives, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life that taught us the importance of joy, connection, and the essence of being true to oneself.
Not only a beautiful daughter and mother, but a beautiful woman and free-spirited soul was taken off this earth and carried to Heaven. She’s now at peace and in no more pain. She’s no longer here to see any more earthly sin, one day we will see her again. We may not have been ready for her to go but her wings were already sprung, and Heaven’s gates were already open ready to receive her as another special loving angel they were ready to gain. This I know God has ordered.
