Cynthia “Cyndi” Ann (Petitt) Morris, 70, of Grove City, formerly of Washington Court House, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Grove City Mount Carmel Hospital.
Cyndi was born March 4, 1954, in Fayette County to the late Arthur and Pauline (Highley) Petitt. She graduated from Miami Trace High School. Cyndi co-owned and operated Riley and Morris Tax and Accounting for many years. She was known by many for her over-the-top fashion and her one-of-a-kind laugh. In the last several years Cyndi had been a member of the Heritage Memorial Church. She found much comfort and support from her faith and her church family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Kenny and Randy Petitt.
Survivors include her children, Staci Merritt, Brittany (Eric) Schwab, and Adam Morris (Alex Hill); grandchildren, Sierra (Caleb) Boysel, Houston Coe (Macy Gruber), Hayden Hays, Averi Hays, Jaxson Schwab, and Dominic Schwab; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Fessler, brothers, Dave and Roger Petitt; sister-in-law, Pammy Sue (Thacker) Petitt; and her many friends and church family.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life gathering will take place from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
