Danita L (Adams) Mcfadden

Danita L (Adams) Mcfadden , 63, of New Holland passed away December 26, 2021, at St Anne’s Hospital in Columbus following a brief illness.

Danita was born in Fayette County to the late Norman and Verna (Rayburn) Adams. She graduated from Mount Carmel School of Nursing in 1979 and started work as an obstetrics nurse at Fayette County Memorial Hospital. Through her career she participated in 1,500 births and delivered 25 babies herself.  After 30 years of service in obstetrics, she transitioned into a position with Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County helping those at the end of life and their families. She was one of the most warm, caring, and compassionate people you could ever meet. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister.

Danita is survived by her husband Dale; children, Erin (Alex) Poe of West Jefferson, Dustin Mcfadden (Carrie Steele) of Columbus; grandchildren, Jaylen and Zoey Poe; sister, Kim (Matt) Warning; brother, Chip Adams; as well as, several nieces, nephews and her many friends.

A funeral is planned for 11am on Monday, January 3, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 2 ^nd from 3pm-6pm. Friends are invited for a gathering at the American Legion Post 25, 1240 US-22, Washington Court House, OH 43160 at 1pm following the graveside service.
