Danny Earl Dingus, Jr.

Danny Earl Dingus, Jr., age 55, of Sabina, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 7, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1970, in Lorain, Ohio, to Danny Dingus, Sr. and Peggy (Wade) Dingus. His profound journey through life was marked by many passions, including his love for fishing, grilling out, and watching football and westerns. He found solace and joy in reading his Bible and listening to music.

Danny is survived by his mother; long-term companion, Heather Eidson; children, Damien Dingus and Cody (Desire'e) Dingus; grandchildren, Keiser and Dawson Dingus; brother, Bobby Dingus; sister, Brittany (Rusty) Foster; nieces, Summer, Kenzie, Alexandia, and Allyson Dingus, and Amber Hamms. Danny's family also includes aunts Anna Scott and Paula Barnett; uncles Jeff Dingus, Lonnie Wade, and Tommy Wade; stepchildren Harper Tice and Wesley (Shelby) Eidson; mother-in-law, Debbie (Chuck) Strous; sister-in-law, Tabitha Sammons, and a brother-in-law, Justin (Karli) Strous. Additionally, he leaves behind several great nieces and nephews, and many friends including his K-9 friend, Stella.

Along with his father, Danny was preceded in death by a sister, Stacey Dingus; aunt, Sandra Roll; uncle, Mike Dingus; and a nephew, Mikey Dingus.

A Celebration of Life honoring Danny will be held on January 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 25, located at 1240 U.S. 22 in Washington Court House, Ohio.

Those who knew Danny recognized his kind spirit and zest for life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his unwavering love and dedication.
