Danny Lee Roberts

Danny Lee Roberts, 69, Of Washington Court House, Ohio passed peacefully on the evening of December 27, 2023 following ongoing illness.

Danny was born April 10, 1954 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to the late Ira and Leona (Hopkins) Roberts. Following work for many years on tobacco farms, he started a 27 year career with Wheeler Roofing. Danny enjoyed fishing and spent countless hours both on the banks of local lakes, creeks, and at area pay lakes.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie (Hornback) Roberts, and by sisters, Janet Warnford, Wilma Himes, Lavern McDaniels, and Genavie Hamilton, and by his brothers, David, Marion, Dennis, and Kenny.

He is survived by his children, April Dawn Roberts, Christine Roberts, and Steven Roberts; grandchildren, Thelia and Felix Roberts, and by his companion of over 30 years, Melanie Brown. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and his K-9 companion Hope.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service is planned for 2pm on Friday, January 12, 2023 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating.
