David Lee Bush

David Lee Bush, 83, of Washington Court House passed peacefully at his home on April 9, 2025.

David was born February 16, 1942, in Pennington Gap, VA to the late Reynold and Bertha Bush. He was the owner and operator of Central Ohio Exterminating for nearly 60 years, prior to his retirement. David was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 129 and the Fayette County Anglers Club. He loved Canada and had traveled there often for vacations and yearly fishing trips.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by a son, Gary Bush, and by brothers Donnie and Danny Bush.

Survivors include his companion of nearly 48 years, Judy Wilson; children, Sandy (Dewey) Walls of Dayton, April Wilson of Jeffersonville, Amy (Derek) Winters of Washington Court House, Brad (Lisa) Wilson of Washington Court House, and Amy West, who he loved like a daughter; grandchildren, Nick Hurles (Maddy), Zoe Fierman (Caden), Mitch Fierman, Dr. Tyler (Marissa) Smith, Jordan (Kara) Smith, Holly (Trevor) Williams, Amy Wheeler, Beth Wheeler, John Brown, and Katelin (Matt) Termaine; several great-grandchildren; as well as his many friends, including special friends, Alan Anschutz, Garry Garrison, Kenny Sholler, and his favorite little fur friend, Precious Star.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time.
