Debbie Ann (Stolzenburg) Cox

Debbie Ann Cox , 56, of Washington Court House passed away February 7, 2023, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe following a brief illness.

Debbie was born June 13, 1966, in Fayette County, Ohio to the late William and Dorothy (Wood) Stolzenburg, Sr. She was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an excellent wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Laura Mesker, Patricia Mapes, Mary Robbin Searls, and Helen Rose, and by brothers, James Stolzenburg, Everett Stolzenburg, and Robert Landis. She was also preceded by furbabies, Teddy Bear, Maggie, and Boo Boo Cox, Jr.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, George Cox, whom she married February 5, 2002; her children, Michael Stolzenburg, Jonnetta Stolzenburg, Amanda Queen, and Tamela Jester-Woods; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Louise (James) Bruce, Shirley Taylor, Mary Kelley, Carey (Terry) Beedy, and Wilma Harper; brothers, William Stolzenburg, Jr., and Willie (Sarah) Atwood. She also leaves behind many extended family members and her many friends.

A funeral service is planned at 1pm on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH with burial to follow in the Hardin Creek Cemetery in Leesburg, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the time of service.
