Della Mae (Kemp) Riley

Della Mae (Kemp) Riley , 60, of Washington CH passed away on November 15, 2022, following a short stay in Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Della was born October 13, 1962, in Washington Court House to the late James and Lillian (Gilpen) Kemp. She worked as a waitress until her health forced her to retire. She loved cleaning house and listening to country music. Della loved her family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Miracle and a fur baby, Hennessy.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, James E. Riley; her children, Jimmy Kemp and Ashley Riley; grandchildren, James Riley, Hailey Penwell (Keith Glass), Allen Penwell (Katie Hampton), Alyx Penwell (Lauren Martin); great grandchildren, Carter and Kingsley Riley, and Kaeson Penwell, sister, Carolyn Grooms; brothers, James (Lila) Kemp and George (Lisa) Kemp; and her fur babies, Alita, Bacardi, and Brandy, as well as her many friends.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5 to 7pm on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Cremation will follow.
