Delores E. Strickling
February 15, 1924 — March 9, 2016
Delores E. Strickling , age 92, formerly of Washington CH, passed away Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the Westside Village Care Facility in Indianapolis, IN, where she had been a resident for several months.
Delores was born on February 15, 1924 in Lewisville, Ohio to the late John Henry and Jenny (Wheeler) Weber. She was a member of the Washington Country Club and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Washington CH, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bruce Strickling, whom she married in 1941.
She is survived by her children Linda S. (Dave) Duff of New Palestine, IN, Dale B. (Marilyn) Strickling of Indianapolis, IN, Lois E. (Roger) French-Pack of London, OH, and David B. (Jerri) Strickling of Westerville, OH; as well as, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday March 12, 2016 at the Buchanon Presbyterian Cemetery in Lewisville, Ohio with Rev. Susan Lehosky officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday March 11, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH, OH.
