Edith Jean "Jeannie" Brown

Edith Jean “Jeannie” Brown passed away on January 30, 2021 at the Brown Memorial Home in Circleville at the age of 91.

Edith was born Edith Jean Sheley on August 27, 1929 in Jamestown, Ohio. She was a 1947 graduate of Silvercreek High School. Edith was an active member of the American Legion Post 25 Auxiliary for many years. Her passion was bowling and she bowled in several leagues in Washington Court House for over 50 years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vora Brown, Jr. in 1983, and a son, Donnie Brown in 1975, as well as her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Diana Gilmore; grandsons, Duane (Sara) Radcliff and Joey (Ashley) Radcliff; and two great-granddaughters, Zoey and Aubrey Radcliff. She also leaves several nieces and nephews along with their families and her many friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 3 ^rd in the Washington Cemetery with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Roberts Funeral Home is caring for the family.
