Evelyn (Ogle) Morris

Marie Evelyn Morris, 94, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Greenfield, following ongoing health challenges.

Born on October 20, 1930, in Berrysville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Octa Dell (Douglas) Ogle. Evelyn was a proud graduate of the White Oak Local High School Class of 1948 and carried the values of her upbringing with strength and quiet grace throughout her life. She had attended Grace Community Church for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Joseph Morris, and by her daughter, Deborah Kay Morris.

Her legacy lives on through her devoted grandchildren, Timothy Pence II, Melissa Martin, Joseph Gibson, and Monica Gibson; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Amber, Cody, Nathan, Violet, Aubrey, and Preston; great-great-grandchildren, Reagan, Kennedy, Madisyn, Addison, and Storm; and, her many friends.

Evelyn’s life was marked by her steadfast love for family and the simple joys that brought warmth to those around her.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held on June 26, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Burial of the urn to follow in the Washington Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place for an hour prior to the service.
