Everett Neal Fitch

Everett “Neal” Fitch, 73, of Washington Court House passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He had been in failing health for the last two years.

Neal was born in Washington Court House on December 3, 1952, to the late Everett and Barbara (Frederick) Fitch. Following a two year courtship, he married Barbara Ann Sholler on April 15, 1973. They shared 52 wonderful years together.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Fitch, Tonda Baird, and Jeanie Mongold, and a brother-in-law, Robert Sholler.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; two Daughters, Robyn Elizabeth Arnold and Heidi Nichole George; six grandchildren, Collin (Callynne) George, Kylie George, Trinity George, Layla George, Blair Penrod, and Dylan (Kennedy) Arnold; a great grandson, Ryiot Arnold; and special grandsons, Zane Nelson and Cameron Jones. He also leaves behind two brothers-in-law, Kenny Sholler and Rick (Teri) Sholler, a sister-in-law, Tammy (Mike) Lower, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time. A private celebration of life will be held by the family at their convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
