Filogonio Diaz Garcia

Filogonio “Michel” Diaz Garcia of Bloomingburg passed unexpectedly at his home August 19, 2024, at the age of 46.

Filogonio was always in a good mood. He loved cooking for people and listening and dancing to his favorite music while enjoying his “Modelos”. He loved plants, fish, and the color yellow. Scary movies were his favorite to watch. He dreamed and often talked about seeing the Grand Canyon. Filogonio named all of his vehicles. He was determined and was unstoppable at reaching his dreams. As an example, he started working for the Jack In The Box restaurant chain in a cleaning position and worked his way up to eventually become a manager. Filogonio lived life to the fullest.  He was truly someone to admire. He loved helping people and was a friend to everyone. He loved his family and would especially do anything for his mother.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Cesar, Arturo, Eribertha, Alberto, and Rosaelia.

Surviving are his mother, Bertha Garcia Salinas; children, Berthy and Yeshua; granddaughter, Getzemani; sister, Maria DeLos Angelos Diaz Garcia; brothers, Julian Gonzales Garcia and Fidel Diaz Garcia; and extended family and friends, Erika, Brisa, Diego, Eder, Iolis, Martha, Candy, Blanca, Diana, Pato, Alex, Vero, Naty, Fredy, Silvia, Boricua, Yesenia, Pedro, and Alecia.

Filogonio will be returned to his birthplace for burial. The family is being cared for by Roberts Funeral Home.
