Glen Edward "Ed" Reeves, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born on October 25, 1937, in Fayette County, Ohio, to the late Carry and Bessie (Parker) Reeves.

Glen was a graduate of Washington Senior High School, class of 1955. Following his education, he proudly served as a veteran of the US Air Force, fulfilling his duty at various bases both domestically and around the globe. Upon returning to civilian life, Glen dedicated himself to his career, owning and operating a State Farm Insurance Agency locally for over 40 years. His commitment to his work and the relationships he built with his clients exemplified his deep-rooted connection to the community.

In addition to his professional achievements, Glen was an active member of the Good Hope Lions Club, where he held several offices during his time with the organization. He was also a volunteer fire fighter for the Wayne Township Fire Department. His involvement demonstrated his dedication to service.

Glen enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests, including golfing, bowling, and riding his motorcycle. He embraced life with enthusiasm and shared his passions with those around him, creating lasting memories with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Knisley) Reeves; stepdaughters Michelle (Joe) Bosier and Athena Mitchell (Rick Tripp); grandchild Abby Brown; and nine great-grandchildren, with one more arriving soon. He also leaves behind stepgrandchildren Zack Bosier (Shelbi Bowling), Brittany Seiter (Randy Huff), Casey (Andrew) Wyrick, and Mitchell (Sarah) Brown. Glen is further survived by his sister Beverly (Larry) Conley, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, including his feline companion, Sally.

Glen was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Richards, son James Reeves, and siblings Carry Reeves, Sarah Haines, Owen Reeves, Gene Graham, Cynthia Chestnut, and Jay Reeves.

A funeral service is planned for 12pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Burial with military honors will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10am until the start of the service.

Glen Edward Reeves will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, service to others, and the profound love he shared with his family and community. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
