Harold E. Rowe

Harold E. Rowe , age 87 of Washington C.H. passed away on May 14, 2017 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Harold was born July 28, 1929 in Fairborn, Ohio to the late Raymond and Pearly Robinson Rowe. He is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during Korean War. After returning home he worked many years as a heavy equipment operator on a highway construction crew. In his later years, Harold loved to tinker with projects around the house and supervise efforts in the garden.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Dearth Rowe; a sister, Helen Sagle; and brothers, John and Gerald Rowe.

He was survived by his children, Susan (Jack) Creed, Cynthia Jacobs, Sherri Rowe, Lorrie Rhonemus, Timothy, Douglas and Jamie Rowe; grandchildren, Eric Brammer, Joshua Creed, Jennifer, Branden and Nakeisha Rowe, Ashley and Abigail Rhonemus, J.D. Massie, Richard Jacobs III, Emily Jacobs and Samantha Rollins; great grandchildren, Kennidi Burkhart, Khole, Kylie and Jaxten Creed; sister, Francine (Richard) Kimmey; brothers, Jake (Bev) Rowe and Paul David Rowe; as well as many friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH, with pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10am to the time of service. Following the graveside service a time of food and fellowship will take place at the Rose Ave. Community Center.
