Howard Scott “Elmer” Wilson , age 56. of Washington C.H., passed away at home on January 10, 2017.
Howard was born on April 28, 1960 to the late Sherman and Juanita Hoover Wilson. He had lived his whole life in this area and was a 1978 graduate of Miami Trace High School. He was a member of the local American Legion Post #22.
Howard is survived by his sister Tina Lindsey (Keith Downs) and his brother Todd (Kathy) Wilson; nieces, Taylor and Bailey Lindsey; and a great-niece, Aubree Lindsey, all of WCH. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
A memorial service will take place on January 21, 2017 in the back room of the F.O. Eagles Lodge #423 (320 Sycamore St, Washington C.H., OH 43160) from 3pm-7pm. The service and meal is open to all friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to the Fayette Co. Veterans Honor Guard, c/o Charles Harris, 825 Sycamore St., Washington C.H., OH 43160. Arrangements are under the care of the Roberts Funeral Home.
