Jack Wayne Moore, Sr.

Jack Wayne Moore, Sr., 75, of Jeffersonville passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2024, with his loving family at his side.

Jack was born July 20, 1949, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Margaret (Cummings) Moore. He had worked for many years in construction, specializing in siding for the last several years. Jack loved woodworking and would spend countless hours crafting his next masterpiece. He was also skilled at drawing and would sketch items that he would later transfer onto wood. Jack also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. In his down time, he was known to relax with his favorite music.

Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Yocum, and Phyllis Hill, and by brothers, Donny and Bill Moore.

Surviving are his wife Kathy (Boysel) Moore, whom he married June 7, 1976, and his children, Greg Moore (Jaime Graham) of Beavercreek, Richard Loyd III of Jeffersonville, and Jack (Nicole) Moore, Jr. of Columbus. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Madison Moore (Kaleb Finkbeiner), Marissa Moore, and Shelby Holbrook, as well as many extended family members and his many friends.

A funeral is planned for 1pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am until the start of the service.
