Jeremy Robert Shipley

Jeremy Robert Shipley of New Holland passed away September 5, 2024, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness. Jeremy was born January 5, 1978, in Washington Court House. Jeremy had worked in the HVAC trade for several years before being forced to retire for health reasons. He loved deer hunting and quiet time spent fishing for bass in the creek. Jeremy knew vehicles and could name many models just by sight. He enjoyed going to car shows and working on his own truck to occupy his time. Some of his most cherished times were holidays that he spent with family and evening movies he and Jill shared together. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jesse McFadden. He is survived by his wife, Jill Shipley, whom he married September 3, 2011; mother, Cheryl McFadden; father, Terry Shipley; children, Isaiah (Mindy) Shipley, Anthony Helms, and Emily Helms; grandchildren, Carter Shipley, Maverick Shipley, and a baby girl arriving soon; brother, Jason (Jodi) Shipley; and a sister-in-law, Kim (Josh) Sones. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Rhonda “Roo” Shipley (Corey Hanna), Bentley McFadden, Scarlett McFadden, Judas Sones; as well as, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many friends, including his K-9 companion, Willow. In keeping with Jeremy’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service is planned for 1pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday from 12pm until the start of the service.
