John Edward Ragland Sr.

John Edward Ragland Sr., Age 73 of Washington CH passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Signature Healthcare in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Born October 15, 1942 to the late Edward and Mary Lee Ragland, John had lived most of his life in the area. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed his family and his grandchildren were the light of his life.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Linda Balbin Ragland, whom he married on December 28, 1972; a son, Eddie Ragland; siblings, Janet E Swain, Judith E Ragland-Alderman, Mary Catherine Ragland and Joey Ragland.

Survivors include his son Eugene Ragland and his fiancé Kristin Elliott of Circleville; siblings, James (Linda) Ragland, Jeffery (Phyllis) Ragland, Robert (Doniece) Gatliff and Jill E Ragland; grandchildren Alyssa, Darrian, Trinity, Kenzley, Mikhaylee, Adalyn, Kenneth, Aaron and Kiana Ragland, Taegan Retherford and Riley Jenkins, as well as, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to www.heartlandhospicefund.org.
