Katherine Irene Ryan, 87, of Bloomingburg, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
Katherine was born May 13, 1926 to the late Charles and Nellie Smith Sanders.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Ryan Sr.; daughter Glenna K. Netter; an infant sister and sister, Anna; brothers Merle Sanders and Lester E. Sanders Sr.
Katherine is survived by her sons, Glenn (Ginger) Ryan Jr. and Daniel (Sherie) Ryan Sr.; daughters, Patricia and Karen Ryan; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother Warner (Helen) Sanders; several nieces, nephews and special niece, Mary Gray.
Friends may call Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the Wellman-Kinzer & Godorhazy Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Pastor Lester Sanders Jr., officiating. Interment to follow at Bloomingburg Cemetery.
