Kathleen (Henson) Morris , age 85, of Washington C. H., passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, in Cartersville, Georgia.  Kathleen was born December 28, 1931 and was the daughter of the late John L. Henson and Dorothy Lee (Charles) Henson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Morris and brother, Arvil L. Henson.

Survivors are son, John D. Morris of Washington C.H. and daughter, Janet Gaa (Richard) of Cartersville, Georgia; grandchildren, Tiffany (Gaa) Castano, Shane Gaa (Shana) of Georgia, Brittany (Morris) Hays (Eric Schwab), and Adam Morris (Wayne Roberts) of Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Steve Morris (Relna); special cousins, Bill and Fran Baldwin; special friends, Janice Boswell and Mary Wilson.

Kathleen retired from Fayette County Memorial Hospital as a Lab Assistant on May 31, 2007.  She was a member of the Fayette Co Hospital Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many with a kind spirit and big heart.  She loved to play cards and enjoyed socializing.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 12 noon at Roberts Funeral Home in Washington C.H. with Rev. Danny Dodds officiating.  Family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the service.  Pallbearers will be John Morris, Adam Morris, Wayne Roberts, Rick Gaa, Shane Gaa, & Eric Schwab.
