Kit Carson Dyson

Kit Carson Dyson , Age 55, of Williamsport passed away on Thursday September 1, 2016 at his home after a prolonged illness.

Kit was born on January 16, 1961 in Washington C.H., Ohio. Prior to his illness he had worked as a truck driver. Kit was an avid fisherman, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and mushroom hunting. According to his family, he was always willing to help anyone in need and he never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his Father John Wilber Dyson, and a sister Tonda Minney.

Surviving are his fiancé and soul mate of 11 years Tabby Maynard; his mother, Minerva Jane (Morris) Dyson of WCH; children, Lisa Perkins of Mt. Sterling, Jessie Dyson and Misty (Matt) Winterbotham both of Dayton, Buddy Evans of WCH, and Noah Ardrey of Williamsport; grandchildren, Kenyah’da, Dalton, Kaden, Carson, Colton, Alexis, Matt Jr and Natalie; siblings, Johnathan (Debbie) Dyson of Brookville, Jocelyn (Jeff) Cremeans of Greenfield, Joyce (Dave) Parson of Hillsboro, John (Chris) Dyson of Springfield, Mark Dyson of Huber Heights, Pete (Lynn) Harperee and Neil (Sherry) DeWitt both of WCH; as well as a host of friends, including special friends, Lewis Miller, Mike Bundock, and Greasy. He also leaves behind his faithful K-9 friend, Dilly.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4pm until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
