Larry David Beucler, 67, of Washington CH, was called to Heaven to be with the Lord on May 6, 2016 at Court House Manor Nursing Home.
Larry was born February 15, 1949 in Washington CH, to the late Ernest and Mary Frances (Southward) Beucler. A life time resident Larry graduated from Washington Senior High in 1967. After graduating he enlisted in United States Navy. He worked at Bosch and Budd Wheel and Washington City Schools as a bus driver. Larry was well known by both “Pops” and “Scary Larry”. He had been a member of the VFW Post 3762, American Legion Post 25, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. His true passion was the love he had for his children and grandchildren, they were the light of his life.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Misty (Beucler) Messenger.
Survived by three daughters, Hope (Mike) Persinger, Stacie Beucler (James Goodyear) of Washington CH, and Amanda (Jed) Fish of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Clayton, Alyssa, Alex Persinger, Hayedon Zurface, Keaton Beucler, Kason, Jackson Fish, and Kynzlie Smith; brother Mike (Mary) Beucler of Doolittle, MO; nephews, Michael (Jessica) Beucler, Todd and TJ Messenger; and nieces, Mikayla Messenger and Hannah Beucler, all of MO; special cousin Patti (Rick) Duffy; and many cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Roberts Funeral Home on Tuesday May 10, from 5pm – 8pm. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH, with Pastor David Leisure officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
