Lora Faye (Brown) Merritt, born on August 30, 1968, in Greenfield, Ohio, passed away at her home on April 26, 2026, in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Lora was an animal lover and enjoyed time in nature.

Lora is survived by her sons, Andrew Stapleton of Greenfield and Edwin "Eddie" Stapleton of Washington CH: grandchildren, Hunter Jay, Hannah Lynn, and Brooks Christopher Stapleton; sisters DeAnna (Dan) Siliven, Kelly Merritt (Christopher Dunn), and her twin sister Lisa (James) Cox, and by her brother Joseph Brown (Amy Winters), as well as extended family and many friends.

Lora was predeceased by her parents, Billy and Anna (Knisley) Brown.

Cremation will take place with further arrangements to be announced at a later time.
