Mark Allen Patton

Mark Allen Patton, 67, passed away on September 28, 2025, following an extended illness.

Mark was born on December 9, 1957, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to the late Richard and Betty (Lansing) Patton. A proud graduate and member of the Miami Trace High School Class of 1976, Mark’s journey was marked not only by a solid education but also by his steadfast service in the Ohio National Guard. Mark enjoyed a long career with Kroger.

Outside of his professional life, Mark had numerous interests that enriched his time. He had a passion for raising horses, a hobby that brought him great joy several years ago. An individual committed to self-improvement, he was one step away from attaining his Black Belt in Taekwondo, reflecting his dedication to perseverance and mastery.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly (Reed) Patton, and his devoted children: Michelle (Jason) Moore, Michael (Loydene) Cole, Sheila Cole (Antoine), Brandy (Logan) VanLandingham, and Devon (Danny) Pitzer. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, including his special friend, Jeff Stewart.

Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Michael Patton. 

Cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time. His final arrangements have been entrusted to Roberts Funeral Home.
