Mary Christine (Taylor) Camp of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, after a valiant battle with ongoing health issues. She was born on June 3, 1946, in Fayette County, Ohio, and was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Mary dedicated her life to her family as a stay-at-home mother, embodying the virtues of love and devotion that defined her role. She had a profound love for horses and dolphins, finding joy not only in their beauty but also in the happy moments associated with these magnificent creatures. Her happiest times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she shared countless happy memories.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Brian (Pamela) Camp, Brad (Brandy) Camp, and Jerry Camp. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Bradley Camp, Cody Green, Trevor Camp, Brianna Stewart, Jeremy Camp, Jr., Heather Ingram, Deanna Ingram, Taylor Kiddknocker, Tasha Fox, Jackie See, Duane Fox, Jr., and Cheyenne Camp. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Ada) Taylor, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Taylor. Mary was blessed with many extended family members and dear friends, including her special friends Virginia "Sis" Wilson, Roy Cox, Pebble Coulter and best friend Amy Barnhart.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Dolly (Wilson) Taylor, her sister Rose Funk, and her brothers Roger and David Taylor.
A funeral service is planned for 1:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House, Ohio with Pastor Keith Clary officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11am until the start of the service.
