Nancy Ann (Hedges) Robinson died on April 4, 2026, in Washington Court House, Ohio. She was born on April 16, 1936, in Washington Court House, Ohio at the home of her grandparents Frank and Ethel Jackson. Her parents were Aulbin and Helen Louise Jackson Hedges. She grew up in Hillsboro, Ohio and was a 1954 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She graduated from Wilmington College with a degree in education. She taught at Webster Elementary School in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Nancy married Paul “Larry” Robinson on June 3, 1958, in Hillsboro, Ohio at the home of her parents. They were married until Larry’s death in 2020. After marriage, they lived in Xenia, Ohio and then Jamestown, Ohio. They then moved to Washington Court House where she spent the rest of her life. She stayed home with her children but later worked at Rehab Plus and Bob’s Dry Cleaning.
Nancy liked to spend time with her family including her 3 grandchildren. She and her husband liked to walk for exercise. She liked to work on genealogy and she liked to read. She was a Blue Bird leader when her daughter Janet was young and was also a former member of the Leadership Training Class at First Presbyterian Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Marian Robinson, her sister-in-law Latricia Robinson, her sister-in-law Wanda Hedges, her brother-in-law Art Gale and her nephew Mark Robinson.
Nancy is survived by her children: Sally Robinson of Maumee, Ohio, Janet Robinson of Washington Court House, Ohio and Carl Robinson (Sandy Eiben) of Taylor Mill, Kentucky. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren: Rachel, Elijah and Timothy Robinson. She is also survived by her brothers Jack Hedges and Frank (Becky) Hedges and her sisters Joan Gale and Susan (Gerald) Kirk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A service is planned for 1pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Frank Hedges officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org/donate or to the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org.
