Patricia Joann Cummins

Patricia Joann Cummins , age 69, formerly of Washington CH, passed away at he r residence in Highland County on March 17, 2016. Her death was sudden and unexpected.
Pat was born July 17, 1946 in Hillsboro, Ohio to Robert Leroy and Leona Marie (Walter) Merritt. She had lived all of her life in this area. Some of her favorite pastimes include crafting, ceramics, camping and euchre with the family. She organized several of the meals in the past for the Bass Master Tournament for Fayette County Fish and Game. She retired from Nationwide Insurance, but had worked in the customer service department at Mac Tools before that. She was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
She was preceded in death by her father and, in 2003, her husband Robert Cummins.
Survivors include her mother; children, Tonya (Scott) Becker of WCH, Christina Cummins of Springfield and John Robert Cummins of Circleville; grandchildren, Josh (Erika) and Emily Becker, Teyah, Taylor, Samantha, Christian, Ella and Connor Cummins, Megan (David) Tipton, Carl and Mya McCallister; and one great-grandchild, Cambri Mae Becker; brother, John (Wanda) Merritt; sister-in-law, Ronna(Greg) Sowders; and nephew, Doug Sowders; as well as special friends Donna and Amanda West.
A graveside service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held Monday, April 4, 2016 at 1pm at Washington Cemetery. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Assn., or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH.
