Patricia Ann (Hall) Roberts

Patricia Ann (Hall) Roberts of Good Hope entered heaven on the morning of August 9, 2021 at the age of 85. She crossed over with her children at her side.

Patricia was born September 2, 1935 to the late William and Edith (Hayner) Hall. She was born in Madison County but spent most of her childhood in the Jeffersonville area. Shortly after finishing school, she met and later married the love of her life, Welton Roberts. Together they shared a happy life as they welcomed two daughters, Melanie and Cheryl, into their small family. For most of her life Patricia was a homemaker. She is remembered as being an excellent housekeeper and an even better mother. Once the girls were raised, she transitioned some of that affection to her grandchildren and later to her great-grandchildren. She always carried a huge love for her family, which was felt by them all.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Welton “Dutch” Roberts in 2008, brothers, Ernest, Lloyd, Melvin, and William, Jr. Hall; and sisters, Doris Howe, Barbara Rice, and Linda Seaman.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Melanie Brown (Danny Roberts) and Cheryl Roberts; her grandchildren, Wayne Roberts (Daniel George), Randalia (Jeremy) Clay, and Carey (Tonya) Brown; great grandchildren, Conner Morarity, Madison Brown, Landon Clay, Andrew Clay, and Cameron and Savannah Bartlett; brothers, Robert (Jean) Hall, Monty (Phyllis) Hall, and Karl Hall; and sister-in-law, Shirley Roberts. She also leaves her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends, including her two furry housemates Cooper and Chloe.

A service is planned for 6pm on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4pm until the start of the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Fayette Regional Humane Society, 153 S.
