Peggy Irene (Kennedy) Parker, 74, of Washington Court House passed peacefully on April 7, 2025, with family at her side.
Peggy was born April 16, 1950, in Logan County, West Virginia to the late James and Vina (DeLong) Kennedy. She retired from the Upper Arlington City Schools as the head cook, after many dedicated years. She loved her work and received several awards and accolades during her career. Peggy was an amazing cook at home as well. She loved hosting the family for big meals, especially at Christmas. Peggy will be remembered for her loving, caring, and generous spirit, as well as her sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Parker, a son, Mike Romine, a stepfather, Bill Clark, and a sister, Brenda Binkley.
Survivors include her children, Deborah (Jeffrey) Pruett and Rebecca (Damien) Osborn; sisters, Patricia Rutherford and Joyce (Roger) Williams, several grandchildren, and several nieces, as well as many friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House, Ohio on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12pm to 3pm. Cremation will follow with burial in the Alton Darby Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff and caregivers at St. Catherine’s Manor for their excellent care, especially Rhonda, Ruby, and Nicole.
