Rebecca Jo Wilson

Rebecca Jo Wilson passed away on December 24, 2025, at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born on April 14, 1970, in Washington Court House, Ohio, Rebecca's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to caring for others and her deep love for her family.

Throughout her career, Rebecca touched the lives of many individuals as a nursing assistant, embodying the compassion and dedication that the profession requires. Her ability to connect with those in her care reflected her kind-hearted nature and her commitment to giving back to the community.

Rebecca had a passion for country music, enjoyed watching cooking shows, and treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren. Her hobbies not only brought her joy but also allowed her to create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Joshua Wilson, Robert Rutherford, Rebecca Hedges, and Savannah Hedges (Logan McCoy). Her legacy will continue through her grandchildren: Sara Hochstuhl, Ryan Rutherford, Arianna Phillips, Nevaeh Hedges, Rhea Hedges, Iziah Hedges, Carter McCoy, Cohen McCoy, Maelyh McCoy, and one grandchild soon to arrive. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Wilson, and her brothers: Terry Wilson, Larry Wilson, Kenny Wilson, David Wilson, and James Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Canova and Joann (Colburn) Wilson; her brother, Brett Wilson; and her sister, Patricia Wilkins.

Rebecca's life was a beautiful testament to love and service, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
