Rhona Lee (Weller), 82, of Fayette County passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026 at The Courtyard at Centerville.

She was born on February 12, 1944 (Abe Lincoln’s birthday as she liked to say) to the late Charles F. Weller and Mary Ferguson Weller. A 1962 graduate of Washington High School, Rhona married the love of her life, Glen “Butch” Geesling on October 19, 1962.

Although she was born and raised a city girl, Rhona adapted to life on the farm. During their marriage, they raised two children and farmed the Eyman Estate farm. Rhona loved being outdoors and mowing the yard on her John Deere riding lawnmower was her favorite pastime.

Rhona was preceded in death by her husband Glen, son Randal Geesling, parents, brother Jerry Weller, father and mother-in-law Roy and Margery Geesling, sisters-in law Barb and Helen Geesling, nephew Edward Geesling, and niece Ronette Geesling.

She is survived by her daughter Tamera Geesling (Thomas Roehrig), brothers-in-law Ronald and Joe Geesling, sister-in-law Debi Weller, niece Michele Geesling, nephews Chris Weller (Opal Justice) and David Weller, great nephews Adam Dodds (McKenzie) and Dakota Weller, great nieces Carly Dodds and Caitlyn Weller.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Colman’s Catholic Cemetery with Father C.M. Haddad officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Fayette Regional Humane Society, or Day City Hospice Addus Hope Foundation.
