Robert Allen Scott

Robert Allen Scott, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on August 10, 2026. Born on March 6, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, Robert lived a life marked by dedication to his family, friends, and craft.

A graduate of Miami Trace High School and the Laurel Oaks Vocational School, Robert developed a strong work ethic early in life—a trait that stayed with him throughout his varied and accomplished career. He found his calling in carpentry, working closely alongside his grandfather, William Roberts and uncle, Billy Roberts. This early experience in the trade laid a foundation for Robert’s future successes and allowed him to master skills that would serve his community for years to come.

Robert’s professional journey included significant tenures in construction, notably with Nashua Mobile Homes and Palm Harbor Homes. His expertise extended further through positions at Martings, Ferno Washington, and New Sabina Industries, where he was known for his commitment to quality and reliability. He further refined his craft as a carpenter, building houses with Randy Deatley.

His personal passions were equally distinctive. Robert was a devoted enthusiast of Mopar, a topic about which he spoke with great enthusiasm.

Robert is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann (Roberts) Scott; his sister, Connie (Rick) Smith; his niece, Kelsey Johnson (Evan Tyree); great nieces and nephews, Presley Johnson, Jett Johnson, Kendal Tyree, and Reagan Tyree, aunts, uncle, numerous cousins; and dear friends Jeff Lemaster and Tim Dunlap. He was preceded in death by his father, William Scott.

A visitation in memory of Robert Allen Scott will be held on August 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Family, friends, and those whose lives Robert touched are invited to gather in remembrance and support.
