Rodger Dale Pauley, a devoted family man and passionate automotive enthusiast, passed away peacefully at his home in Sabina, Ohio, on July 16, 2025, with his loving family at his side. Born on February 28, 1951, in Washington Court House, Ohio, Rodger lived a life defined by his dedication to family and his love for cars.
Rodger was an ardent supporter of his family's needs, ensuring they were always taken care of. His warmth and commitment were evident not only in his immediate family but also in his relationships with extended family and friends. He took great joy in sharing his enthusiasm for various interests, particularly his love for cars and watching drag racing, which served as a reflection of his spirited personality and zest for life.
Rodger is survived by his beloved wife, Janet (Dean) Pauley, and his daughter, Jackie Pauley. He is also survived by his brothers Butch (Vicki) Pauley and Jeff (Dee) Pauley, sister-in-law, Shirley Pauley, and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were fortunate to know him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roberts Pauley, his mother, Betty (Self) Pauley, his son, Scott Pauley, and his sister Brenda Smith and brother Bill Pauley. Rodger’s legacy of love and unwavering support for his family will forever be remembered by those who knew him.
Cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time. His care has been entrusted to Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House, Ohio.
