Susan Rae Blamer

Susan (Suz) Rae (Blamer) Sisco, 51, of Washington Court House passed December 31, 2024, just after arrival at Adena Fayette Medical Center.

Suz was born on March 14, 1973, in Gallipolis, Ohio. A graduate of Washington Senior High School, she furthered her education at Southern State Community College, where she graduated with honors. Suz went on to work for Rocal, Inc. in Frankfort until health challenges led to her retirement. She will be remembered for her radiant spirit and selfless nature, which she shared with all those around her, bringing joy to everyone she encountered. Suz was a truly giving person, always putting the needs of others before her own and offering her time, love, and support without hesitation. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, whether reading or playing cards. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her long-term companion Robert Sisco; her son, Takoda Sisco; her parents, Dane and Catherine (Starcher) Blamer; sister, Andrea Blamer; brother, Bill Cottrell; close cousin, Sarah (Eric) Hawkins; nephews, Chandler Manning, Gaven Hawkins and niece Gracelen Hawkins; close friend, Joyce Krech CNP. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, and a wide circle of dear friends.

A funeral is planned for 4pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Bo Stranzin officiating. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm until the start of the service.
